We will make tea masala (powder) which is good for our health. Spices which I used for this masala boost our immune systems. I used 5 main spices ; cinnamon, clove , black pepper, ginger, mulethi (liquorice root) .
1. Cinnamon :- cinnamon is used in cooking ,to make perfumes and medicines. Here, we are using it for robust health. It decreases the blood sugar level and also keep our heart healthy.
2. Clove :- Clove has been long known for its Ayurvedic medicinal purposes. Clove is used for treating toothache, bruises and improving digestion. Cloves khava boosts and strengthens our immune system.
3. Black pepper:- This spice is widely used throughout the world. It’s also known as black gold. The sharp pungent black seeds are good for our body’s health. It boosts our metabolism which helps our body to digest food properly. It has anti-bacterial and anti-cancer properties.
4. Ginger :- This spice comes with many health benefits like relieving cold, cough and joint pains. It also helps in regulating blood pressure. It has been associated with reducing nausea, inflammation and is known for enhancing digestion. Here I have used ginger powder made after drying fresh ginger and then crushing it.
5. Mulethi ( liquorice Root):- Mulethi is the Indian name. This spice has antioxidants and anti -inflammatory properties. It is very useful to cure cough, sore throat, bronchitis and for some skin problems as well. It’s also known to be beneficial in case of low blood pressure.
How to make :–
Take all spices (dried up). Then mix it and make powder in the grinder . Keep this powder in dry jar so our masala doesn’t coagulate. You may use this in your tea or you can make kahwa from this power.
Try to include these spices and many others in your everyday meals and enjoy the long term benefits of our country’s priced possessions.
